Workaholic Much?

Okay. I'll own up to it. I might not be "retiring" just yet. I just lined up a project that I'm excited about. I feel it's pretty different from what I've already got under my belt.

Also wanna say ... Daily 10 -- I love that blue dress!

New Trailer is Here

I ended up shooting a little cameo in a friend's short. It was cute.

Anyway ... I've been in New York for a while and now I'm back in LA. Things are good. I'm just starting to gear up for the Spider-man 3 media machine. I'll be in Mary Jane mode for the next 9 months. It's like I'm carrying a child.

Other than that, I'm taking a siesta. I don't plan to start any new projects for about a year or so. I know I've said that before and then eaten my words. We'll see what happens this time.

I hope everyone is checking out all the SM goodies that are now online.

SORRY!

Oh my god - I am so sorry for being out of touch. In theory, I should've been able to at least get an assistant on here to update you, but that's never been the point of this blog. It's been about direct communication about the stuff that's going on.

So, again, I apologize for being so out of touch.

Marie Antoinette has finally been released here in the States. Been out for weeks now. I'm really happy about the criticism. I usually try not to focus on the reviews but it's always an added plus when there's a generally positive critical consensus. Sometimes I get really nostalgic for that shoot. It was such a beautiful, amazing, soulful production - the whole thing. I'm just thrilled that I was a part of it. I'm thrilled that I have such great friends and such wonderful opportunities to work with people like Sofia. I'm just blessed.

I gotta stop now cause I know I'm gushing. I'm going out with the girls tonight to party it up. Monday I'm on set.

Movie Making Madness

It's really easy coming back to shoot Spider-man. I know everyone. We've spent years together - off and on. It's kind of a family situation. So far, I've shot some fun scenes, which I'm under contract NOT to talk about. Of course - that doesn't mean info hasn't been leaked already. (I was trolling the web yesterday and found some behind-the-scenes info that shouldn't be out yet! I don't understand why people want to spoil it for themselves!?) I just say fuck it. There's always someone sneaky on a film set. And as far as the papparazzi are concerned ... yep ... they're camped out around the lot. Some of them are on a movie set beat. Some of them are on my beat.

So what else is new?

Anyway - the guys have been walking around with cameras, in between takes, shooting the extras for the S-M3 DVD. There's gunna be some hilarious footage! The main material will focus more on the technical "making-of" but I know exactly what they'll use if they decide to include bloopers. We have a lot of jokers on the set. The biggest one of all - Sam.

Light as a Fether

I shot a film last week. And it wasn't Spider-man. Let's just say it opens fashionably late in February. Here's a frame:

Two Thousand and Six

I had a really great christmas with my mom this year. I bought her a really gorgeous Good Charma necklace and I got my brother what I think is a pretty different gift - a Harley Davidson test drive. I wanted to do something he couldn't predict. NYE was amazing too.

Shit's crazy right now in LA cause it's awards season. I attended the People's Choice Awards, a bazillion parties, I've been hanging out with Jake and Maggie and Adam - and Tobey, of course, because we just started on Spider-man. I'm really excited to be doing this final installment!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving

It's been so nice recently - I've just been hanging out with friends. I have a little bit of time to relax and do some mild preparation for the next film. I've been having crazy fun.

So, sorry if I forgot to write.

Liat was happy when I got extensions. She digs my long hair more than the short. I'm easy either way but I had a specific purpose in getting these extensions. This is, in fact, only the 2nd time in my life that I've worn them. Unheard of. At least in Hollywood.

I feel kind of like Shakira, which is cool. They're funky colors - just like my roots!

So ... honestly, there's not much going on. I had a good Thanksgiving - LA style. I saw Jennifer Garner a couple days ago, looking like she was about to pop. And right now I'm reading about Leonardo DiCaprio and me. But I guess this is all old news.
